EVO ICL (Implantable Collamer Lens)

EVO ICL is an advanced, FDA-approved vision correction procedure that provides an excellent alternative to LASIK for patients with moderate to high nearsightedness and astigmatism. Unlike laser surgery, EVO ICL involves implanting a soft, biocompatible Collamer lens behind the iris and in front of the natural lens, without removing any corneal tissue.
This revolutionary procedure can correct nearsightedness from -3 to -20 diopters and astigmatism up to 4 diopters. The EVO ICL offers several unique advantages: it’s completely reversible and removable, provides rapid visual recovery (most patients see improvement within 24 hours), reduces dry eye risk compared to laser procedures, and includes built-in UV protection. The procedure typically takes 20-30 minutes and is performed on an outpatient basis.
Clinical studies show that over 99% of patients achieve 20/40 vision or better, with about 90% reaching 20/20 or better. The EVO lens is particularly ideal for patients who aren’t LASIK candidates due to thin corneas, high prescriptions, or chronic dry eye.
